These 2-hour seasonal workshops offer a nourishing blend of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and restore.

Held at Pattingham Village Hall, each session follows the natural rhythm of the seasons, drawing on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In TCM, each season is linked to a specific element and meridian pathway in the body. By aligning our practice with these seasonal shifts, we can support physical health, emotional balance, and overall energy flow.

For example:
Spring – Liver & Gallbladder meridians: supporting new growth, clarity, and emotional flow.

Summer – Heart & Small Intestine meridians: inviting joy, connection, and inner warmth.

Autumn – Lung & Large Intestine meridians: encouraging release, reflection, and letting go.

Winter – Kidney & Bladder meridians: guiding us inward to rest, restore, and build resilience.

Each session is a chance to tune in, reset, and move in harmony with nature.

What to Expect

Yin Yoga
A slow-paced, meditative practice that combines Hatha yoga with ancient Taoist principles. Poses are held for 3–5 minutes with a focus on relaxation and minimal muscular effort. This gently targets deep connective tissues and fascia, helping to improve flexibility, mobility, and energy flow while calming the mind and deepening body awareness.

Yoga Nidra
A guided relaxation practice that takes you into a deeply restful state between wakefulness and sleep. Using techniques like breath awareness, body scans, and visualisation, Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest, mental clarity, and emotional ease.

Together, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra help balance the fast-paced, “yang” nature of modern life — offering stillness, surrender, and spaciousness.
